  • Attention JR DSX11 owners - Do Not Break Your Antenna!

Just replaced mine and its major heart surgery to the transmitter.

The DSM 2 Module is like virtually every other transmitter in that its a module that plugs into the back.

However on the DSX 11 they've sealed the back, so the only way to remove the DSM module which you need to do to get to the antenna socket is to unscrew the board thats in the back of the transmitter that the module plugs into.

Unfortuantly , there is a lot of wiring to that board, so there's not a lot of give to lift the board high enough to unplug the DSM module.

Also you have to be careful to ensure that the pins are not mis-aligned as you re-insert the module.

Thanks for the info, will take extra care with mine.
Life’s journey is not to arrive gracefully and quietly at the grave ontime and in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, very late shouting ‘Holy Shit!!! What a Ride!!!’”
