Absolutely fantastic weekend

This weekend, loads of great things came together. I finished the final setup of Mrs Leebert's Knight Sport and she flew it for the first time on Saturday - and it could be used again afterwards There was major amounts of grinning.

Simon (Loiphin) flew his T-Rex 600n for the first time at Epsom Downs (yet more grinning) - good going mate!
Today, Mrs Leebert flew the Knight again and was getting nice and confident, even with a slightly stronger wind. All good
Later, we met Simon and Ian (chugga bug) at the Downs for more good flying. I went back to the flightline with the wife's Knight and hooned around - it was good to have the confidence again for more than just fig 8s and nose in.

Nothing done around the house this weekend but, hey, chores can be done while it's raining.

Sounds like a great weekend...

I had a bit of a fly today, two tanks through the Raptor (need to check the gyro settings I think).

My first loop and inverted fly on the Trex.
And on the second flight (trex) - my first inverted wtf moment and a nose dive in to the long grass LOL

Just the bottom plate, battery plate, one servo gear, feathering shaft done. Main gears came out unscaithed!.

So irrespective of the ground/air interface test on the Trex - a good day

Good to hear that the unfortunate recent ding with the bike didnt ruin your weekend with the heli.

Mine was great. Only slight downer was the Trex going in after a lockout.

I'm still smiling though as just prior to the lockout I was having a blast!!

Well done Simon (Loiphin). Glad you took my advice and joined the EDMAC .
Biggest surprise of the day was passing my A test! I only asked Ashley to stand by me while I did the first circuits with my Knight 3D! Next thing I know I'm doing my test! . The eights were a bit ropey but I don't care now! Still can't believe it

It was great to see the 600 fly and even better to have a go myself
Let's hope the weather is kind this weekend and we can get passes. Although, I don't think (I hope) that's a problem for me as Mrs Leebert wants to try and fly after work as well
She'll be better than me in no time

Sounds like a good weekend apart from the T-rex but that what their for LOL.

I had a good one too, testing out a Spartan gyro and flying for the first time with a governor. all was G R R R R E A T!!!!!

I even was asked if I was an instructor ROFLMFAO!!!

ok ok so he was completely new to flying and new down the club grounds so I can forgive him.
