  • Tail Wagging

    Guys:
Some help is needed..... Twister 3D I admit a bit batterd and brused it wont stop wagging it tail...

    HS56HB servo and HL800 Gyro.

This has got worse since we put the throttle curve in to increase the head speed. I have altered the gain from min all the way up to nearly max and it wont behave its movement is about 15 deg at about 1-2 wags a second. I have checked the balance fo the baldes and the head and its OK. I have also tried removinf the servo rod guide just in case its sticking (it wasnt) and the pitch slider is free moving

    Any ideas ??

ALSO please note that you can adjust the gain as much as you want and it wont make any difference while the battery is connected as the GYRO WILL ONLY PICK UP ON NEW ADJUSMENTS WHEN THE BATTERY IS CONNECTED!! so set it at 90% and then plug the battery in and give that a try..

Just another possibility, Have you landed it a little hard at all, the Tail drive gear is soooo weak, could be a stripped tooth or two, this happened to me, eventually the teeth all stripped, fortunately I was just landing and got it down
