I'm pleased to read that you guys saw what went on out there.
Mike and I were really trying hard to ensure everyone stayed safe through the event, which I'm pleased to say happend

We had Rotorworld on site, along with Andy Shrimpton from www.fapo.co.uk (doing the 3D Championship 'official' photography), taking pictures from the safety of the judges area, or close to the side of it - I think we will see some great results there, so it proves the point I think.

    Cheers,
    Rob

I really can't imagine Dave Fisher getting in a huff about anything. He seems to be such a polite chap, even saying good afternoon to the judges and crowd when he went out to fly/call

I think both of the mentioend mags are crap, neither have even reviewed the 450 SE V2 yet and i think MHW reviewed the V1 AFTER the V2 was out..

Also where is a Knight 3D review or a 600N review???

Not that i would wanna read those idiots opinions of them anyway...

Mags are too slow and outa date before they hit the shelves

I get all my info from the Internet

As a newb I'm curious as to your comments. If said 2 Journalists are getting too close to the Heli and don't listen to the safety marshal.... why not let Darwin and the Avro take care of matters ? If they've been told and are too stupid or arrogant to listen then so be it......

Because the event would be ruined and I would get sued.
I think I'm a pretty relaxed chap, but don't breach my safety rules or I'll kick your arse

what qualifies someone to enter 'Champions' level of competition ? Are there Criteria ? Noticed Dave Fisher... (who will soon be giving me lessons hopefully) came 10th.... wonder if it's worth teasing him about it

Waste of a bloomin nice heli, it would bend the Avro's pretty bits, but you could get him to do it with a different heli, a Hawk maybe if it'll stay in the air long enough
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                        And a DX8 too

did pilots pick the tricks before the k factor thing(level 9) was decided.i asked on rr how and when you'd be doing this.to no comment
because you decide the class your in by knowing the k factor in each class
otherwise you get pilots in the above class that simply get hammered
                            cheers craig

nobody knew where the split would be but in theory you could pick low K factor moves and get into the lower class and then hammer everyone......if you were so inclined and had the required talent.

once all pilots entry's where in we sent them to the judges and once you put all the pilots set manouvers total in order there was a natural split at fifteen as the pilot who had 9.5 had already requested that he would like to compete inthe upper level all pilots of teh lower level had the option of moving up a class but those in teh upper class could not move down.
