  • Phoenix problem with Mac

    So ive just gone and bought myself a new Macbook pro never thinking there may be a problem running phoenix sim! how do i go about this will i need some sort of windows based OS , i kinda wanted to stay away from windows with all the viruses ive had in the past. Any help would be much appreciated. Mods feel free to move this if im in the wrong section.

    Okay search the forum in the Pheonix section

    Yes you need Windows, Cannot believe you thought a Windows product would work on a Mac

    After all its quite clear Mac is OSX General PCs Windows

    Bootcamp or fusionVM or Parrells are required

      I never really thought about the sim when i bought the new computer, thats the thing. Thanks for the help.

        You need boot camp or parallels and then a copy of xp vista or windows 7. I use parallels with windows 7. No problems for me.

        I was the same wanting to stay away from windows but some software I use is not on mac.

          Well the good news is theres now very little you cannot get to run native on the Mac or there is a version of software that will do the same job. Had my Mac Pro for years and been lucky enough to avoid Windows at home now for about 6 years or so

            Hi,

            I have my 2010 MacBook pro running Phoenix v3.0s along with my dx7s and it runs amazingly on
            Windows 7. If you need any help or pointers just pm me.
