foreign ebay buyers?

dunno is there some greek/portugese scam going on? I checked and 35 meg is the correct freq in greece.

I sold a Millennium to a guy in France a few months ago, and a Freya to someone in Southern Ireland a couple of years ago. I've also sold an engine to the USA, and servos to Spain and Portugal.

The foreigners tend to pay top-dollar for all this stuff and I've never had any real problems with them except the French guy with the Mille. He took weks to pay, and then getting it to him was a pain, but we got there in the end. Communicating was difficult as he spoke no English, and I speak little French, so I'd write him emails, and then run the text through an online translator service before sending them.

Sold a 10ch synth rx to a guy in Italy about 4 weeks ago, no problems just make sure it's sent with some form of insurance and that they pay up first.

I Sold some lipo's to a guy in italy and he paid more for them that what i did brand new lol had no trouble what so ever that was on ebay too

3 chinese rip-offs and every one fully Refunded by Paypal....all for the tune of about 100-200 quid.
Total time from complaint and refund was 2 weeks.
I've done 400'ish trades on ebay mostly as a buyer and have had 3 shoddy products, 3 attempted ripoffs and maybe 1 or 2 idiots. Otherwise I've had a good time

I put a claim in for just a small amount and it took them 3 months to reply and then they had the cheek to tell me if I didn't send them the relevant paperwork within 14 days to berlin it would be void. I queried something about what they wanted and this took them another month to reply. Sent them what they requested and then received yet another email several weeks later informing me they then needed something else which they also gave me 14 days to send. I dropped it at this point as they seemed to not be able to tell thier arse from thier elbow.
