  • mds.38 throttle arm???

    hi everyone!

    hoping someone can help!
does any of you have a mds.38 throttle arm or a arm that will fit??

i am new to helis and am currently learning with my raptor 30 and having ago at building and setting up a hawk pro which came with the mds.38 with no throttle arm!!
ive never built or setup one before so hopefully learn along the way!i know its not the best combination(mds and a hawk)but its just a cheap way of learning!

so please if someone has a suitable arm please get in touch! cheers!

Can you supply a photo of the mouting point on the carb barrel?

Quick UK do throttle arms for OS engines, but they are very generic really and may well fit.

You can also often make your own perfectly good one out of a servo arm for many engines.

I don't know what the MDS throttle barrel is like, but asumming the throttle arm fits by means of a cap screw through the middle, then just fettle a suitable servo arm to whatever size you want, and bolt it on. You may find it easier to push the bolt through from the 'wrong' side of the servo arm, so that the usually 'top' side is flat up against the end of the control barrel.
