  • Cheaper Battery for the 120 SR

Bought a couple Overlander 3.7v 550mah Lipo battery packs the other day. Three for £15.00.

    So far they seem great.

Just thought i'd share it with you, cheaper battery pack, slightly larger, but fits okay, and slight higher mah.

I removed the stickers and a fair amount of the grab tape and the size comes down surprisingly well.

Does the higher mah extend flight times and the volts (3.7) is the power (higher volt, more power) ??

          More or less.

mAh = Capacity = Flight time.
Volts = Power needed to operate

The critical thing is C Rating (C12, C20, C25 etc) = the batteries ability to sustain a given voltage. You could have a poor quality battery with 2000 mAh but if its C rating is poor then it won't be able to sustain high load for long. It's a balance of the three factors though.

I think that's how it works!

Hi, I bought some of these and broke the battery holder due to the slightly larger size. I've ordered 2 more and I'd recommend doing the above or what i'm going to do , which is cut about 5mm out of the bottom of the holder to allow it to spread apart and acommadate the larger battery. Do it before you break it like I did! Great batteries though especially for the price!

I use the above Overlander, the sticker needs to be removed as it only gets screwed up if left on and it's a tight fit, gives me about 10-12 mins flying, not sure how long you get on the original as mine failed not long after I got it.
