one of the blokes down the field was using this setup on sunday when I was down there, we saw him with a FF9 and the aerial down so chased out incase he had just forgotten to put the aerial up, but of course all was made clear when we saw the module.
couple of people were so impressed I may even have sold my FF9 without advertising it
This issue I see arising with the modules in TX is if you use both 2.4 and 35 and constantly change the modules I believe the pins may end up with bad/dry joints in the back of the TX.
one the reasons I went with a dedicated 2.4 set and retained the FF9 for 35Mhz use only.
Just my thoughts
Raptor 50 V3 Titan OS 50 hyper-MP2 pipe-9252-401 & 9254-Rev Max-Radix600-Radix 95- Kasama Head
Trex 600N Pro R.I.P OS 50 Hyper-MP5-9451-611 & 9256-RevLock 20-CycLock-Radix600-Align Tail Blades
Knight 3D OS 50 Hyper-MP5 Pipe-9255-Logictech 6100-Rev Lock 20-Radix600-Radix 95
Trex SEV2 4S TP 2000-Medusa 28-40-3400 Jazz 40-6-18-GY401 & 9650-HS65MG
any joint is going to suffer if it is constantly in use.
although I should imagine that most people once they make the choice to swap to 2.4 will do it across there entire fleet eventually.
The module for the FF9 does look better to me than others ive seen I dont like these loose wires in some modules. but there is no doubt that there are functions available in the FF9 that are missing in the dedicated sets at the moment.
Having said that I have plumped for the dedicated sets and will probably end up going for the JR set when it comes out.
I use an AR6200 in my Rex450, with the Spektrum Tx
small enought to fit and the satellite module means I'm not worried about range.
On 35Mhz it would glitch occassionally, never seen a glitch since switching over to DSM.
Hasn't improved my flying, it still eats dirt on a regular basis
