• Don't forget to charge your heli!

If you are out enjoying a lot of flying - don't forget to recharge that LiPo on your regulated heli. If you do, it could end up being totally out of control in flight and then what happens is you smash your Vibe into the floor - hard!

Oooh, nasty

Sad, sad, sad.
And quite embarrassing!
<smacks self in head!>
Cheers.

No!!!!!!!!!

I hope it's not too bad. If the frames are busted, it probably ain't worth fixing.

Bad day.

At this time my thoughts are with your Vibe.

You're still a numpty though
I'm just gonna check the charge on my helis though, just in case...

Blimey Rob sorry to hear that.

Hope all goes back together easily and quickly.

funny(well maybe not but) I was talking with someone at the weekend as to how much charging goes on at the weekends now, when I flew all those years ago we didnt have anywhere near as good a batteries plus no fast chargers worth mentioning but people flew all day.

we were discussing why this was one reason more power hungry servos etc.

well I must get runner up numpty put a new servo on the rudder of my katana, wired up the servo horn the other way round did a check but faild to notice it was reversed. fun landing followed
All the best

Matt, the frames are very strong - nothing broken there.
Total damage includes: Main shaft, Feathering Spindle, Flybar, Crown gear and boom.
Ordinarily a cheap crash (minus the blades) but we're talking stupid Vibe prices here, of course - hence my parts bill is approx £90 - add another £90 for a set of TST 690 V Blades and ouch!

The shafts are only very fractionally bent - which is bent enough of course - but it shows just how strong they are - if I'd have had radio control to hit the hold and cut the engine earlier, it wouldn't have bent them.

You'll be pleased to hear the heli is fully charged now
Cheers,
Rob
