align starter

just got my new align heli engine starter do any of you recommend putting greece in the one way bearing ?

plus my turnigy batt wont fit any suggestions on a cheap battery ?

i bought mine with the align lipo when the starter first came out and it's still working great

Flea bay for the battery I got a 2200 mah one for £12 from a uk seller just check the sizes as not all will fit the starter !

I used my starter for two years starting 90's never did a thing to it.

Align, living the dream !

I have this one and it fits the align starter: Lipo Batteries 2200mAh 3S 11.1v 25C Sport | Overlander Batteries
take a note of the dimensions and see if you can find something cheaper in ebay, that one fits quite tightly so don't get anything bigger

The E-flite 3s 1800mAh battery fits it.
Dimensions for battery are:

Length:	4.05 in (103mm)
Width:	1.35 in (34.3mm)
Height:	0.85 in (21.6mm)

The align is a good starter, I start 90's with mine no problem never had a problem with it but it has not been worked that hard, as for a battery just check the measurements of the battery compartment then go look on tinter net.

I've had an Align starter for over two years now, starting 90s etc,
you may find,, infact you will find, the shaft is made of the usual Align cheese metal so will have to up grade to a harder one.
I got mine from midland,

thanks for the all the reply's guys i am really impresed with th quality for the price it looks a nice bit of kit and am liking the carry case my local hobby store sells the overlander ones so i may have a look at them

mine felt tight but i din't want to force it incase i couldn't get it out as its has being in a crash and it bent the bottom a tiny bit i have straightened it out and havent charged or discharged it for about 2 week and it hasnt balloned up so will this still be safe to use ?
