  • MCX issue (and dx6i)

i have got an mcx which atm isn't flying and im wondering if anyone knows what the issue might be and how im able to fix it please.
On take off the heli lowers itself to the ground slowly as it does when the batteries are flat. I know it's not the batteries as we also have a vapor and they are fine in this so im unsure what the problem could be.

Also whilst im on the tone of issues, my dx6i has a broken trim switch as i can trim it to turn the heli right but then if i try to switch it back i cant as it wont click. Any ideas how to get this fixed please?

Thanks for the help in advance
    Matt

Trim switch ? Easy. Just pop the back of the T/x, remove the trim switch housing and pop out the switch lever, cyano and and spritz it till a nice gusset is on both sides, put it all back together and it's good to go. All mine done like this months ago and still sound.

As to the MCX, what are you doing stick wise whilst this is happening ? It won't stay there by itself you know. Hold it in your hand, making sure the skids are in tightly, and give it full throttle, do the motors just slow right down whilst still at full stick ?
If yes to that, I think you have a duff budgie. Back to the dealer with it or HH.

Trex 450 SEV2, hack, freeby, but getting expensive. Binned the bu**er !

Brains and thumbs work okay, but not at the same time.
