  • My Helicopters.

Thought I'd share what I've been upto lately.

Built the Gaui EP100 last week and I'm just waiting for a calm day to set her up. Currently finishing the HDX 300 and getting the hang of the Belt CP.

Anyway heres the pics. Oh and you can just imagine what my other half thinks of my hanger space in the living room....

The two small heli's are for the car port and the back garden respectively. The belt cp is practice for when I get a T-trex 450 shortly.

Well, Got the EP100 sorted out! What a little machine! Its a bit on the breezy side here in Glenrothes today but its a great little Heli. Headspeed is nuts and I love the way it flys.

I'll have to read up on how to set expo on the elevator and Aerolon controls on my DX7 as its a bit on the VERY twitchy side at center stick but otherwise its all good!

Just to clarify though, My definition of flying at the moment is tail in hovers with anything other than the Twister CP. Still its all time in tha air and these little guys mean I should be able to fly through the winter when the drive is dry and its not too windy.

    Regards

Nice one! Its my Birthday next Friday so I think I'll drop subtle hints to the Fiancee......

You know, 'Darling, would you like to buy me a T-Rex 450 SE V2 for my Birthday?' kind of hints........

Although I think I'm going to wait untill end of October to buy it unless I get lucky before hand.

Unless you lot all want to chip in for a pressie for a poor Driving Instructor......

Just the way it is mate , girls like flowers , clothes , chocolates etc etc . Men like cars , helis and there gadgits ( all exspensive stuff ) . Id be more likely to buy the wife a bunch of flowers for 50 quid than the wife would buy me a set of carbon 600 blades . See my point .......... Not fare . Think ill go and weep
