Well after todays visit too the field im very pleased with them, used 10ml of fuel in each lite them and they both lasted until i left the field some 4.5 hours later.
I kept them in their covers in my pockets and had no problem with them going out, they were easy to light I basicaly put a few drops of fuel on the wadding on the top, the flare up a little but once that burns off they heat up fairly quickly, I thin knext time Ill light them before I leave home so their warm when I get to the field, but it only takes a few mins for them to start warming.
I found they dont get excessively hot but their warm enough to keep your hands working, so to me they are a winner.
Tye, up till getting these I used the charcoal ones and they are excellent, as long as they are alight, the problem I had is they keep going out which is really anoying.
