  • How do you deal with flying in the cold?

Ive started wearing a balaclava while flying and a pair of gloves with the thumbs cut out of them .To be honest i dont feel as comfortable flying in all this gear though.

Any other tips for staying alive and flying this winter?.

mCPX Indoors, central heating on 20 plus. Hot tea and choccy bikkits, sorted ! Or, like this afternoon, several layers of clothes, thermal long johns wooly gloves with thumb and first finger off, two pairs of socks , big boots, toasty ! Then went and crashed the bastard AGAIN ! BUM !! I need flip down binos, LOL.

      Trex 450 SEV2.
Trex 450 SEV2, hack, freeby, but getting expensive. Binned the bu**er !
      Trex 550 V2. Adrenalin ( brown kind )
mCPX, better than a Phoenix anyday.
      Several planks, gathering dust.

Brains and thumbs work okay, but not at the same time.

Many many layers of clothes, hat with ear flaps, fingerless gloves, Zippo hand warmers - 1 inside the Transmitter mitt behind the Tx.

          Job done.

You can get heated socks in the same vein as well - work a treat.
