hi peeps! just bought a quark fg and the t/x is a bit basic to say the least, the whole shebang runs on 35mhz, can i bind the heli to a better t/x? one with a throttle hold would be a great advantage, what would you reccomend?

You don't bind a 35meg Tx and Rx. They are linked together because the Tx transmits on a particular frequency and the Rx receives on that frequency. I would suggest a Tx and Rx of the same make. Or buy a cheap 2.4 set instead.
Edit: Just looked at the manual and I'm wrong you can use a different manufacturers Tx you just have to set the control unit to work with it. Theres a set of dip switches used to set the Tx type. Very clever. In that case any 35meg radio that you can get hold of in good condition cheap from either Futaba, Sanwa or Jr.Last edited by waveydavey; 05-12-2011, 09:44 PM.

thanks bud, it can't be set to 2.4 as the heli is a bit small, it has a micro board thingy a bit like the mcpx etc, but set up for 35mhz. i'm heading down to the shop tomorrow at some point to see if they've got anything lurking in a cupboard somewhere that'll do the job, thanks for the info,Originally posted by waveydavey View PostYou don't bind a 35meg Tx and Rx.
