  • Swash expo dx7

Still haven't used this yet. Just interested to see who does, and what are the pros and cons?

It's supposed to give a more linear collective feel.

Having lots of subtrim added to your servos during setup and the expo activated can give bad interactions (so I hear).

Not used it or felt the need to, but would also like to hear others thoughts.

I tend to use expo just to dial it down a little around centre stick and make the hovering look and feel nicer ...Some people use it, some dont its down to personal taste really ... start off with say 23% and work your way from there and see if you like it or not ... I tend to run around 15% after I am happy with the model ... Just make sure everything is mechanically setup and then have a play .. Cant hurt anything to have a go with it .. Oh and its a positive amount on spekky if you go negative it will be even more sensative around centre stick

      Nope this helps

Are you talking about expo on cyclic or the swash expo function on the DX7 which attempts to give a servos rotational movement a more linear output?

        I think the former?
