To anyone with a machine shop interested in making heli parts; I am curious what
it would cost to have a couple ali inserts made for a Robbe rotorhead.
I think all that would be required is a lath and a drill.
The part is an insert that fits into each side of the main hub where the grips
are attached and holds the damper o-rings.
It's basically a cylindrical piece that starts at approx 17mm OD and has
a step-down to 15mm for the area that fits into the hub. It has a 9mm hole through
it that opens out to about 14mm to accomodate the o-rings.
The stock ones are 20mm total length but I want the new ones about 9mm
longer on the larger OD outside portion.
