550e v2 esc upgrade?

Hey. Been reading a fair bit about how replacing the Align esc on the 550 can be worth while. The mind boggles in regards to all the options available. I notice the Kontronik Jazz 80lv on Fast Lad for a great price. Would this unit be unto the job on the 550?

Possibly.

The Jazz range has been superceded with the Koby range, that are for the same current rating slightly cheaper I seem to remember.

Unless anyone is selling the Jazz for less than the equivalent Koby I wouldn't bother and get the Koby instead.

For 120 quid that jazz does look tempting, anyone know what improvments were made on the koby, and is it worth the extra 50 quid?

There is a Koby 90a for £170. So would this be more unto the job then? Like procol says is it worth the extra money over the Jazz 80?
