  • Shoreham Airshow crash

A mate called me earlier from the Shoreham Airshow where he was watching a mock dog fight. One of the planes - a Hurricane - veered off and crashed into the ground.

A quick look on the internet reports states that the pilot was killed.

Sad loss of a pilot and aircraft
    Cheers, Lee.

    Hi

Yes very sad to lose any one like that and even worse with it been a Hurricane.

Not confirmed but looks like Colin McCrea (spelling) the rally driver might have been killed in a heli crash this afternoon:-(

Also his 5 year old son....was in the helicopter with him who also died. Its sad enough that colin's gone he was so gifted but to loose a child too who's life has barely begun is such a shame. My condolences to the Mcrea's Family in this time of sorrow.
                Cheers
