  • The MCPX has a flaw

So I was flying my MCPX at the weekend in the garden, some nice stable flying, pottering around. I decided to take it up a bit higher and all was fine untill I lost orentation

Then it happened...... I crashed over into next doors garden, I then had to go next door and ask for my heli back

Why does the MCPX not stop it's self from crashing into the next door's garden?

The best place ? In the long grass, nil damage. The worst place ? Over 200 yards away, from a 100 feet up wincie little dot to a throttle hold, out of IU plunge, into a roughly ploughed field full of stones, popped a rod is all. Sigh, such a nice wee beastie ain't they.

mCPX, better than a Phoenix anyday.

I lost orientation with mine a while back, hit throttle hold and the little bugger landed about 50m away on top of a thick 10ft high hedge!!! I didn't know where exactly it was but by throttling up/down every now and then I could hear it chopping leaves up and falling through the hedge... after 10 mins or so it worked it's way down to the ground and I found it. Phew!

I crashed my mcpx while flying outside today. It landed in a puddle of water
The canopy was full of muddy water. I thought it was a right off for sure. I let it dry out for a few hours and started it back up. Low and behold it came back to life. Thank god for that. I'll be avoiding puddles from now on
