Low voltage led

Hi folks, do any of you good gents/ladies know where I can get led's that run on say 4volts (1cell lipo). Any help would be appreciated.

give maplins a try these I think these are 5V ones

I used this page to help me with the resistor values when I did my LED lighting.

You just need the LED values which Maplins give on their site.

Most LEDs have a toward voltage of between 1.7 and 2.4 v so any led will work on 4v all you need to do is calculate the current limiting resistor using that little law devised by mr ohm That's a bit like thisVsupply-fled / current = resistorSay 4 v-say 2v /0.01 10mA = 200 ohms

Gareth if you look at the part listing in my night blades thread, all but the red and yellow go direct off the 1 cell lipo, the red and yellow had an 82ohn resistor in series. I have a few spare as they were in packs of 10, but they are realy really tiny (805 SMT)- what are you up to? making a night fly MCPX?
