16 degs both ways how do i alter it

hey guys, just sorting pitch and tracking blades on my fbl converted 450 sport and am getting reading of over 16 degrees both ways, something tells me thats a bit much and 12 12 or 11 11 would be better, whats the best way to adjust it? cheers, Loz

If its vbar then its the collective travel reduce the travel

go into mecanical setup,part 1 of the fbl setup,use your tx and a pitch gauge to set 11 degrees top end,you do this using your swashmix in your tx,you might also want to check your cyclic pitch and depending on your level of flying set it to 5 or 6 degrees if your learning,9 or 10 if your good.after you have done this continue with fbl setup to let the 3g learn the range...have a good read of the manual and follow it,you cant really take shortcuts.....ask me how i know

Mate make sure any chances you make that you are in DIR mode first.

Loz its dead easy

1. Put the 3G unit in DIR mode by holding the SET button whilst powering on the receiver release when the led have done a cycle. You are now in DIR mode to do your mechanical setup.

2. Go into your swash menu on your transmitter and adjust the pitch % with your guage on your blades to get your desired 11/12 degrees.

3. Do the same for cyclic this angle tends to be steeper than on a flybarred heli I think from memory its arund the same 12 degrees.

4. Now re run through the 3G functions for limits and reversing se berts Youtube vid its easy.

Yeh I brought them down to 45 it's looking more like it should now cheers guys
