DSX11 gov

Hi i need a bit of help

just bought a DSX11 and cant seem to set the Align gov every thing ive tryed seem to have a screaming engine
how have you set your gov and what switch are you using to activate it

Me, I have set my gov to aux2 channel on the transmitter and using 70%~75% with the align governor.

have tryed this aux 2 on travel adjust adjusting on the end points but it screams

not tryed the gov mode yet i used to set my gov on aux 2 on my dx9 and set the end points

I dont understand, firstl did you set AUX2 to GOV in the transmitter?

Make sure your throttle end points are pretty equal and that you have confirmed the travel for the governor.
Mine is set for 75%, 80% and 85% and RPM ranges from 1800 - 2100.
Is the governor actually engaging?
If you want, I can confirm the settings that I have used with my DSX11 and Align Governor!

when i set my gov on my other heli it just sat there flat out 10mins full throttle so ive not used the gov mode on my dx9 because of this .what i ended up doing was using the end points on aux2 to set my limits
but because its a new radio i thought i stay with what i now and it didnt work
so fingers crossed ill try the gov mode in radio tomorrow and see if it works or i can do it ??
to be honest i expected a few problems and hadnt had the radio long enough to understand the manual

On the DSX9, if you activate the gov mode in the model setup menu, then the gov goes into channel 5 (gear) not channel 7 (Aux 2).

Aux 2 is used for the gyro sense function.

No need to use any end points at all as the values for both gyro gain and gov value are all tied into the flight modes via these functions.

It's a bit different from other transmitters and I don't know if the DSX11 is the same as the DSX9, but it might be worth consulting the handbook for a second or two, just in case?

it gives an example in the book that the gov is in aux2 but you can nominate any switch

ive got it set now in aux2 gov and ime going to try norm = 0% ide 1 =55% ide 2 =65 and see what hapens
