My first flip!

Hey guys and girls, took a week off work this week to progress my flying abit, and I am so glad I did. Monday, had to spend time with the mrs.lol. Tuesday booked a whole day with Noel cross, practising for my A certificate. Learning how to control the heli f3c style. Wednesday went down to the club practising lazy 8's and circuits. Thursday raining so lots of simulator time, and today got down to the club. Only got one flight in before the rain, but decided to just go for it a try a flip! Pulled it off and you could not remove the smile from my face! Amazing week of flying for me, and have just progressed so much. Nothing beats the first flip! The heli came back in once piece to.lol

Sunday I want to see a roll, a nice big loop and some tic tocs.

@bikeflier: lmao! You really need to get that predictive text looked at! Glad you cought some of it tho. Unlike Wednesday!haha. @cagey: the buzz is imense! I had to come in for a landing straight after, it really had my heart pumping like crazy. Cant believe I have made so much progress in one week.

The tail was facing towards me but the heli was flying away from me (hope that makes sense). Then I just pulled back on the stick, and controlled the pitch as it went round, it was in idle up too.

Yea thats how I done my first flips, tail facing you. Rolls are even easier. Just go easy on the collective flips/rolls I know at least once I have crashed being a bit of a club hand on collective (-:

From what I saw of it he got on his knees and prayed, closed his eye's and yanked the sticks so hard he nearly dropped the tranny, as for pitch control..........
His knees were knocking so much he could hardly walk back to the pits, had to let him lean on my shoulder.

Told you it was easy.
3 consecutive flips with a nice roll out next.

Will try a roll next I think. The practise these again and again. Once perfect will try them with my pride and joy the 550 v2. The 450 is my crash machine, so keep pushing myself on that.

You are doing really well but take it steady, don't get too excited and make silly mistakes.

Very true! Need to work on what I have learnt and get better at that before moving on now.
