        Well....

I have a raptor 50 V2 and I'd like the following: (quick check over shoulder to make sure she's not there)

        2 x feathering spindles
nice led onboard battery indicator thingy
600mm main blades ( i have NHP razor pro at the moment...)
new canopy so I can play with painting it
possibly (depending on left over cash I suppose) some carbon bits like the rear fins and the like.....

        Mikey
        I can hover(ish) - does that count??

I'm also looking for a nice deal on a t rex or arc x400 type of heli, second hand probably if there'll be any stands there doing that sort of thing I dunno - but it will be fun looking

Well I have been down there all day today and I will be going back first thing in the morning, the weather today was perfect, no clouds, no wind, just blue sky and sun.

I am going back in the morning and staying for the weekend. I did a bit of flying this evening on the mega long runway and the TJD guys are down, half set-up and flying some nice models.

Lots of people should be arriving tomorrow and lots of final preparation to be done.

The bring and buy is near the entrance of the flight line this year.

                  Yeah really enjoyed it.
Liked watching the planks wiz around more than I thought I would.
Loads of trade stands with loads of goodies,

it was very hard to keep my wallet in my pocket.

Al from Als Hobbies flew this Plank called a Bobcat
my god I have never seen such a fast model it was ballistic
So Great day had and also met a few Helliaddicts there.

I enjoyed it - wind got up on sunday... but it didnt seem to vex the pilots!

I dont think the shops were doing a roaring trade as there were lots of kits sitting on display at the end of the show? -

Saying that prices werent discounted very much either - apart from Overlander doing some fantastic bulk buy deals... got 2x 4s kokam's, a current meter, a motor & esc, connectors & heatshirink and saved a good few quid based on overlanders webprice - i have used these guys for years - probably about 16 years... and i can never fault them, they know their stuff and are happy to do a deal at the show's... I think thats a bigenuff plug for'em!

Also got a new fan unit for a new ducted fan plane i'm currently working on...

Maybe Stuart could do some club logo caps or stickers for models... Then we can have a club spotters section!

Membership £15 and get a club cap & some stickers for our models?
                    Regards,
                    Matt

Went on the Saturday and had a great day.
Met Mr & Mrs Thomas and little Thomas and also Raptormadsteve who did a good deal on Magnum.
Picked up a DX7 and AR7000 for Mrs Leeberts Knight Sport. It was 189 from Inwoods which I thought was a good price. Got it home and found out it was mode 1 Took it back on Sunday and got it swapped. Went on the bike so had a good blat too. All in all a good weekend for me
                      Cheers, Lee.

Me and Mrs Jiberjaber also poped along on Sat, the real heli display was breath taking!

I picked up a few bits and bobs for the Raptor and my field kit... didnt see any Magnum on sale though, that a new set of blades and a starter would have completed my shopping list

I think I burnt 200 quid all in!
                        Regards,

I picked up a case of Magnum 30 from Steve, luckily I bumped in to Rob and he pointed me in the direction of the big tent near where the boats were, unluckily it was near the animals and as soon as the Mrs and daughter spotted them it was the end of the show for me.

me and my other half went along with Stefan (wang_uk) and had a great time. Bought a knight 3d and some radix blades from steve, and generally had a really good time. The bobcat flown by al was insane, i heard DB say it was capable of 240mph!

Id still like to see more heli flyers (perhaps even some scale? would probably interest people more than hardcore 3d), and more trade stands geared towards helis. maybe someone like fast-lad could attend, or real raptors. they would surely make a killing, there were loads of people carrying small heli's that they had bought

                              I know they ain't helis but . . . . .

Took the wife, met up with all the kids and had a great day (Sunday). Here are a couple of shots taken by my son (Canon EOS - camera, not son )

I kid you not but the Provost could have been the real thing (well - I guess it was a real model) 'specially given the routine it was flying.

I think that may be Dave Stevens Hawk, hes a fellow club member. coincidently I heard about an hour ago, he stuffed it in.

If that is daves, then the other must be Ali's
