hitech hs82mg servo help please

hi chaps & chapettes, the afore mentioned servos on my trex, well one of them has excessive play, in short the pinion moves about 2-3mm when pulled, it doesn't look like it's about to pop out, and the gears seem fine when operated, but as none of the others do this it's got me wondering if it needs replacing.
what do you think?

Doesn't sound, how can I say, natural to have that play from what I presume you mean the output shaft?

You could always take it apart to see what's going on mate. Got 82MG's in my wing and they exhibit no such play after many flights.
