  • SAB or EDGE Fbl blades?

    EDGE or SAB

What Fbl blades do you use? up to now i have tryed, Radix, EDGE, and 3G's on all my Fbl helis, i must say i prefer the EDGE accross the board on my helis, saying that, i went to midland heli on saterday, steared clear of the coffie machiene!lol but left with a set of SAB Red Devil composit blades FAI/3D CH for my trex 500 to try? Tbo as far as i can tell there ain't a lot in it! though i think the SAB's are every bit as good as anything i have tryed to date. i will say the SAB's for me are more visable and make a good sound! lol and ofcorse perfom well, all in all very pleased so cheers Mat (van den) the splat for pointing me at them.

    cheers cuppa

EDGE FBL for me, they fly great and look good in the air. Granted that most of the good brand blades today fly very nice.

On V-Bar systems it is quite hard to tell them apart when set-up the same but there are small differences, mainly with straight and true tracking (and just overall feel).

up until now I have used Radix Flybared , yes normal flybared blades (not SB's) on my flybarless helis using Total G , and they have worked very well indeed.
My recent aplication to the Flock , (read logo 600 3D purchace) saw me try EDGE fbl blades and I am very impressed indeed.
following a crash at charmouth with my T rex 600 I borrowed a set of flybared NHP agressors and they were very good as well , but black & very light but still worked well.

For me though at the moment its Edge .

I am using Radix FB on my FBL helis, but have tried a set of Edge FBL blades on my 600 and I'm also very impressed with them. The only thing I did find was that I had to up the settings on the CGY750 as the FBL blades seemed to take a little of the edge off the response.

If any of you ever get the chance give the spin blades a go i moved from curtis to them and i have to say i love them they track perfect in fff and are crisp on cylic when you peg the sticks

I have a mix of Edge and Radix FBL blades at the moment. Might try some Spin blades soon just to see how they compare.
