  • Align DS520 tail servo.

Repairs after last crash - just replaced the tail case and pitch slider control arm.

Setting up last night.... moving the rudder input I noticed the blade pitch was kind of stuttery? Stopped moving altogether - I pulled a bit on the push rod and it suddenly chattered back to life. Moved it back and forth a bit and then nothing - servo not even chattering.

Spartan gyro seems to work OK - lights doing what they should. Set up for proper pulse width etc.

Why the hell would it do this? Pretty sure the servo wasnt hit in crash.

Is it bust? Any tips? Dont want to have to shell out 30 quid on a new one just to fry it as well if there is an electrics problem.

    Cheers.

Yes thanks - I have replaced plenty of servo gears!

Nah - it is dead... as in no activity at all.
