os 61 SX-h wc 3 needle carb set up

aquired an os 61 wc with the three needle carb in a dodgy deal hence no instructions on initial setup and which needle is idle-mid and top range so I need to know from the fuel nipple back which is what and their setting start points

Good luck.

Near nipple is top end, screw is idle and the other one is midrange. i used them quite a bit and found that the mid needle needs to only be open about 3 clicks max !!! alot just turn it off and use ut as a 2 needle.
good motor though.

right pain in the arse to setup on the os 60..

but once set happy daz.follow the link above and use std setings..

then use chart in the back of the manual.to tweak ,using the finger test ,
on the back plate of engine to get the correct engine temp.

makes shure your using a new plug..and better to start from new,
