Hi All,
As some of you may know, I run Phoenix Model Aviation Ltd which also has a division called Phoenix UAV Centre.
Along with our existing recreational model helicopter flight training, sales & support, we are currently the only flying school in the UK authorised by EuroUSC and the CAA to provide flight training for the BNUC-S commercial UAV pilots qualification.
I have been asked by a UAV client to test fly 2 or 3 different configurations of Octocopter (8 bladed quad if you like) which their supplier is providing as test aircraft. As the supplier is in the North of the country and we are based in the south (Near Bath) I am in need of the use of a flying site for a day somewhere in the Midlands, preferably around the Birmingham area.
If anyone knows of a flying club in that area who would be willing to let me borrow their site for a day to test these aircraft I would be very grateful.
Incidiently, if anyone is interested in flying commercial UAV's and would like to talk about the necessary pilot qualification, please feel free to PM me.
Cheers,
Pete.
