Broken clutch!!!!!

Went our with my 700 today and 1 min in the flight the clutch snap and made this rattling noise and for a sec I thought it was my engine. Anyway order the lynx high performance clutch, should be here tomorrow.

Had that happen on my 600 recently with a QuickUK clutch. They don't go very often but it seems most people have had one fail at some point as they weaken where the clutch shoes pivot / flex

600 clutches do that aswell! imo the align clutch liners are a shade to thin, allowing the clutch shoes to over flex causing failiure of the clutch, to fix this try using the blue (slightly thicker) align liner or a Raptor one, cut a strip of paper A4ish same size as liner epoxy the strip of paper in the bell befor the new liner. use clutch with one layer of masking tape arround it, this will give a good gap between clutch and liner, also stops it getting stuck when fitting/removing, i always pop a couple of long bolts through the clutch to make it easy to remove when the epoxy is dry, 5min should do, hope this is of help.

Jeeeeez how many 600 clutchs hav i brought???? yh there weak and the liners too thin, to echo Cuppa's, yh i put the Thunder Tiger Paptor 90 thicker liner in aaaaaagggges ago now..... never missed a beat since and stops the stooopid hi-reving spool up.... get one brought cheers... mista b.....
