hence using the drill on its ratchet mate

also if the rings are shot he would not have compression or very little compression and all gasses would expell through the muffler!

I can turn it over by hand with just the starter wand. But when I connect the starter it really struggles. It just doesn't make sense.

I I've double checked I put the engine back together correctly and It was running Sunday fine. Theres defo nothing wrong with the engine. Its got to be something to do with the lipo or starter. Will check the lipo tomorrow.

Sorry to be a little off topic but for those of you with Dynatrons and 3s/4s Lipos - How are you mounting the lipo?? Cheers

Basically if the Dynaron cannot turn the OS55 there is something wrong particuarly if it turns over with no plug in it. Without the plug can you turn over by hand i.e. does the engine rotate freely without plug?

If yes then there is a mechanical issue going on which is not clear. Even without shim it would probably turnover albeit too much conmpression.

Something very odd going on, are you at Charmouth this weekend if so bring it along and we can have a look!!

I use velcro and just stick it to the side of the Dynatron, Dan

Right Ive checked everthing and I really beleive its the starter, its lost its torque. I took the plug out again and tried to start it and its turning it over but it is struggling a bit. Is there anyone that repairs them? Or anyone close by me how could have a look at it for me?

have you checked the lipo voltage if its fine check the brushes in the starter.

Did you take the seals of the large bearing and one off the small bearing. (not seen anything saying you have replaced bearings) thought I would chip in.
