Congrats Pete! I didn't see ths yesterday.

Yeah, something about an actual test that makes the nerves go ballistic. When I did
mine last year I had practised the lazy 8's so smooth and consistent and then on the
actual test I flew just horrid, I was so dissapointed in myself but I still passed.

Anyway, well done.

Thanks. To answer your question though, no I don't use Phoenix, well not much at all. For some reason I just can't get on with the sim. I'm 35, I just didn't grow up playing as many computer games as the younger generation. Instead I put in the flying hours on the helis. As an example since the 7th August, split between the TT360 and the 600esp, I've logged 48 flights totalling just under 6.5hours all together. That number would normally be a lot higher had it not been for holiday, crashes grounding the helis, and lipo issues. I just fly a lot.

i belive this is the way to learn fly fly fly get the heli out there. i learnt to hover on the sim but everything else i can do (rolls flips loops invert hover, not very long but can do it.) i went out and did it with the 450 se,must admit i need to step back a little and do more controled 8's as i to would like to get my A .... well done fella.

No Peter just keep the 600, it's all about stick time and a 700e= about seven minuites in the air each charge so keep the 600 as long as it's a nitro .

No Rachel, I'm all electric, the 600 is an electric running 6s at the minute.

Yes I would. I had been considering going 12s on the 600 though to give the packs an easier life. That would mean smaller 6s packs too as 5000mah packs would make it very nose heavy.

I've got loads of lipos for the 360 and 450 anyway so lots of flight time on those even once the 700's lipos are used up
