Ok this is a list of basic troubles with various things and the fix if possible. Useful info in abridged form. Feel free to add your own
1. Fusion powersupplies
Symptom 'Dead'
Probable parts needed 2 x IRF740FI and a 30A double diode and 2 x 100R resistor's
2. LCD Display on a B6C
Symptom poor / non functional display
Any standard HD44780 2 x 16 char display (5v)
3. Cellpro 4
Symptom Most error codes that wont reset
IRF7805 could be any of four locations depending on which one has its top missing
4. BLS251
Symptom 'Dead'
Not practical to do electronic repair its full of potting compound and silicone
5. Lipos various
Multi cell packs with a single cell way out of spec
Strip and rebuild as smaller number of cells. (dont make short circuit whilst doing this) You need a large soldering iron as the cables need loads of heat to remove. Be careful not to split the cell's whilst disassembling
6. Mikado Vbar programmer
Symptom broken display
Replace display with new one from germany / US type DOGM132L5 for extra bling factor use DOGM132B5 with blue backlight needs a resistor adding
7. Velo 90 Gear mesh
Symptom Poor mesh on main gear to clutch bearing
Mechine off 20 thou (0.4mm) from top face of engine mount (there is still 2mm+ clear to the crank case)
8. Velo 90 Tail gearbox
Symptom 'binding mesh too tight'
Remove the gear on the tail end of the TT and machine 10 thou off the rear face (0.2mm) just enought to take out a tight spot it cures loads of vibration troubles.
9. 1Kw power supplies (see the thread on Talk Heli for full destructions) for the safe method of cross connection to ensure the cases can never go 'live' You have to remove the earth connection on the 'Upper' one
10. Buddy leads
Symptom Tripping over
Working on a soulition to remove wires and replace with wireless connection need a few more more test samples but its working.
11. iCharger 106B
Symptom High volts
Connections between the balance connectors discontinious (add repair wire)
This list is likely to grow as more stuff needs to be 'fixed'
