  • Advice on cycling Lipos

After a long time thinking about it I've been out and got a proper charger - Fusion LX60B Pro, it will charge and discharge 1S to 6S which is OK for my purposes.
What I need help with is that occasionally I charge a couple of packs up and don't get chance to use them, I know it's not good to leave them fully charged so what's the best thing to do?
    Thanks in advance

The recommended thing to do is discharge to 3.85v per cell if you don't need them for more than 1-2 weeks. I have some Rhino batteries that are 3 years old now and I leave them fully charged for months...

No, but if you set it to discharge on a 3S 2200 the preset is 11.1V which seems about right to me. It started at 12.55 volts and discharges at max 5 Watts (about 0.4amps).
Just want to be sure I'm not doing anything stupid!!!
        Thanks

Believe me it is 'proper' compared to the little thingy that came with my sh1te evo180se, it charged 2S & 3S ok but a bit like the cr4p things you get with the msr's - no indication of voltages etc etc; ok it might not be the mutts nuts but it's a country mile better than what I had!!!
Anyway, you still flying that Supercub? I'm flying planks as much as helis now - just started night flying with a Night Vapor (when there's no wind) really good fun!!!
