  • Storm 400 3D Help!

    Just bought Storm 400 3D, the settings in the manual are for a DX7 and im finding it hard to follow as I have a DX6i, Spek receivers were already installed in the Storm. This is a Big jump from the Blade MCPX,
    I need to know the settings for the DX6i from top to bottom! made easy thanks guys & gals for any help!!

      Do you mean the Twister Storm 3D? If you do the manual has a few errors. Blade 400 info is ok. Main thing is to make sure the swash is level and stays level with throttle. A pitch gauge wll allow you to check positive and negative collective. Also check the esc and make sure it doesn't get too hot, especially when it's just powered up but with the motor off.

      Check the servos for duff gears. They are nylon and break easily. The basic gyro is a bit temperature sensitive and can make it more difficult to learn than it needs to be.

      There is a Blade Bible for any repairs.

      I should have said that I used Boggy's settings when I started.
