9/11 Do u remember where u were on that day?

Tomorrow will be 10 yrs to the day when 9/11 happen and the world was change forever, so am asking u if u rememeber where u were on that day when u herd the news on what had happen. For me i was in east london on leybridge rd just about to go into this shop to get some car parts me and my cousin when we herd the news over the radio.

So where were u and what were u doing?

I met my wife that day......heck of an anniversary that's for sure. Just watched the documentary about them catching and killing Bin Laden. What I would give to be that Seal who looked him in the eye and then shot him dead.

I was at work, finished early that day (nothing to do with the events in USA) and was at home watching the telly by about 2pm, gob-smacked.

My Mrs remembers it because she started her current job the day before, so today is her 10th year in this employment.

I was installing some cameras at a storage place in Huddersfield. I didn't quite get the full impact of what was going on through the Steve Wright show, and had to wait until I got home and saw it on the telly.

Well we just had my sons 10th birthday party tonight so I can remember exactly where I was. Lots of mixed emotions on that day for me.

Was in a department store buying a small telly for the kitchen, and they had loads of TV's big and small, all tuned into the news. Couldn't really miss it.

I was scuba diving in Tenerife as it happened. I came back to the apartment I was holidaying in after the dive and my ex girlfriend (mother of two of my children, already ex at the time) just mentioned, like in passing, that two planes had flown into the wtc as though it was just another piece of news. I couldn't believe how non-phased she was by it. I just kept on repeating how massive this was as I watched it on the TV, but she just didn't get it.

It really shitted me up, and I was very, very worried about flying back to the UK.
