I'd possibly of played but I am now completely out of love with PC's and Phoenix. Mine is now broken again, crashes the whole machine before it's finished loading. The blame is aimed at the hard drive but I've been here before and as before every other program on the PC works bar Phoenix!
Please don't say reformat and reinstall because that is just Bollox of the first degree and I've been there and done it at least twice now. I know it is considered normal to be reformatting and reinstalling on a regular basis for most PC users but as a Mac/Linux User predominantly it is not a viable option...Phil

I run my Pheonix (very rarely) in Bootcamp on my iMac under Windows 7 Ultimate. I run it at all the maximum resolution, graphics and frame rate settings, use a SimStick and it works fine. I do however get an immediate crash and blue screen of death if I hit the volume buttons on the top of the keyboard to alter the sound level while it's running. So, I leave the volume well alone.
iMac is 3.06 GHz Intel Core Duo, 2 GB Ram, 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM running OS 10.6.8JR Vibe Fifty fb (YS56)

Hi Paul,
It's quite old running XP but has worked fine for ages then all of a sudden I've got problems having changed nothing I know of :-( All other programs still run fine so it seems restricted to Phoenix so I suppose it could just be a bad disk segment or something...
Mother board is an ASRock K7VT2 AMD 2000Mhz Processor 2GB RamPhil
