I have also had comments back that it was within 0.2 degrees of the reviewer's existing pitch gauge (cannot comment on which was incorrect). According to the specifications for the gyro used it should be accurate to +/- 0.1 degree so pretty good really.
The real advantage is that you do not have to hang anything off your blades and I believe that this makes it more accurate.
like i said rc logger's a spot on bit of kit had one for ages, keeps gettin borrowed (battery now flat!!!), try'd beast X bev box, ok for seting up s/saw pain to use one on a heli! i'm sure the phone app is accurate like the others. Imho rc loggers the tool for the job, but some will always use a hammer to put in a screw!

I used to set mine up in the Atacama desert on moonless nights using the angular variation of Cassiopeia for real accuracy and environmental salvation but ever since i discovered the hand wound android phone app that negates precession I find it's most accurate to suspend the phone from a fixed sky-hook and take my readings relative to that. Im never more than 0.001 deg out now.

Just started using the rc logger. It's deffo quicker than temp flybar and manual pitch gauge.

On my 4-blader, I push a bit of carbon tube under the Beanie Dome, and then use an ordinary pitch gauge!

Simple, cheap and uses stuff I've already got lying around!

No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.
