Thinking of going for it instead of a voltage meter. People have told me about the 20% rule, so I hope this makes it easy for me to work out how much is left in a pack.Jr forza 700 - one mean machine!lol

Bought one at Revolution as all the electric flyers at the club have one and very useful for applying the 20% rule and also shows you voltage of each cell, think this is a must have to determin general health of lipo.[/SIGPIC]Goblin 700 vbar blueline, spektrum Hv servos|Goblin 570 Red/Yellow, mini vbar pro, BK's|Goblin 500 red, mini vbar pro, scorpion 4020 1100kv, jive 100+,BK's |Goblin 380, xnova 2820, mini vbar, yge 90, quick connect|Trex 450 pro 7200bx & RJX fbl head|130x|ncpx|DX9| BMFA Member|

These are great for determining if a pack is full or not, but don't depend on them to give an accurate remaining capacity figure as they are just reading the voltage and making a guess based on a standard table.
Do check how much goes back into each pack when charging and compare to the reading you got at the end of the flight so you know just how close it is for each of them.
A valuable aid, but don't depend on it to let you hit the 20% point dead on.

I have two and both have my name on the back just in case a fellow flyer 'borrows' one.
As Mark_T said, % is not bang on but a very good guide to what's in the pack.

The 20% rule is a guide. What is really important is how hot your lipos get and what volts they get down to under load. Using 25C batteries at 10C usually means the 20% rule works. As batteries get older or you discharge at a higher C rate, you can find it doesn't protect you enough. 3.5V on load is a good figure and so is a lipo alarm.Flasher 450 Sport. Good move Sunny. You will love the I charger, and just how much did you save over the Voltz set up? I also have a fusion smart lipo checker, it's perfect.
