Phoenix + simstick + DX8 = Brain melt down

Right i am pulling my hair out, l have Phoenix v3 and a simstick but i just cant seem to set up phoenix or the simstick or my DX8 ??

Because of my memory problems i just cant get my head around it all...
So if anyone knows of a walkthough or video to set all these up would e a massive help

Which receiver are you using with the Simstick, or is that the problem?

l think i didnt explain it very well, the simstick works, the phoenix works the dx8 works

But its all the settings i cant get my head round......

i.e. setting on phoenix
the settings for phoenix on my DX8


and how do i get phoenix to work on my telly instead of my computer srceen ?

now plz remember i suffer from "short term memory loss"
which makes lots of info all at once - confusing

OK, if we can assume that you have the Simstick plugged in and working with a receiver that is bound to an empty model memory on the DX8 then you just need to set that model on the DX8 for a heli with a 90 degree (single servo) swash. That is all, do nothing else right now on the DX8.

Fire up Phoenix and follow the instructions for setting up a new transmitter (system menu, 'new transmitter' option) this will walk you through the process.

Yell when you hit something that doesn't make sense.

basically you just unplug your monitor and plug your tv into where your monitor cable used to be connected to on your desktop. (all lcd tvs have a VGA connection)
you'll need a vga cable of course (or reuse your monitor's cable if it's using vga (it might be using dvi) cable)
but MarkT will help

ok got most of it done then it got late so i will finsh it off tomorrow and let you know how far i've got
