  • gy611 setup issues

I have setup my gy611 as per the instructions
The problem i have is in HH mode the servo moves really fast when i give it left and right stick, however when i flip the gear switch to normal flight mode the servo is alot slower when i give it left and right stick.
The servo works great in both modes but just too fast for me in HH mode.

Is there a way to change the speed when giving stick commands in HH mode o it responds the same as in normal mode.

The tx i am using is a PCM10X upgraded with a dm 9 module and ar8000 rx also jr8900g tail servo.
I have done the secret menu thing to change my gy611 from narrow band to wide so it works with jr servo's

    its not a problem.
Thats how they operate on the ground.
    Have you flown it yet?
It will work ok in the air. On the ground its looking for a reaction to your input and as it sees no reaction it just moves further and faster to help it see a reaction.
As you will get nothing with the heli fixed to the ground this is what you will see.
Try actually flying it and see what happens !!!

not flown it yet due my concern with the gy611 hh servo speed as opposed to normal mode speed pluss it has done nothing but rain today.
Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow so i'll give it a bash then.

From memory the GY611 requires a 760 or narrowband servo unless you enter the secret menu to change the pulsewidth. I think your servo is a 1520 not a 760. It can be used but Im sure you need to change the gyro setting.
