how would you feel the difference between two different width blade sets when flying?would a narrower blade require more pitch to get same lift as a wider one? reason im asking is i have a set of radix on my 600n and have just put what i think are rjx(cant remember)lol onto my velocity! the rjx are around a inch narrower! both are 600mm

In flight difference between narrow and wider blades?

All other things being equal wide chord blades do allow more total lift to be generated but cause more drag at high pitch angles, but can actually cause less drag at low angles of attack due to their more streamlined cross section, but there will be a point where the reduction in drag due to the more streamlined shape is balanced by the increase in frontal area, from that point on drag will rise quicker than a narrow chord blade.
Put another way its a tuning thing.....Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
