    Hi,

From Kirkby in Ashfield and haven`t flown a helicopter (yet). Came on after reading posts about fpv which forms part of a project I`m running and I`m looking to meet up locally with those who can guide me etc. It`s one thing to have all the info to read but when you`re as technically inept, stupid and out of date as I am it helps to have things explained face to face.

A bit to qualify the inept, stupid comments above.

Active in aero modelling till my early 20s, mortgage, marriage, kids etc stopped me in my tracks. 30 years later I`m semi retired and googled the hobby some months ago and WOW!

So, I`ve now a few models and this project which an apparently well respected fpv businessman heard of recently and turned into the fpv police. Tried to tell me what God said but was plainly out of his depth and just wrong (I know this `cos I`m god and I wrote the rules). He said sorry.

Anyway, as I said I`m looking for others to point me in the right direction so the door`s open wide.

I`m more or less permanently logged onto the fpv site so you could get me there or try the MG ZT 260 owner`s site `cos I`m there too as StewB. Please PM me.

Thanks for reading and hope you can help.

    Cheers,

    Stew.

If you've never flown an RC helicopter, then I would suggest you learn to fly line of site before attempting FPV. There not easy things to control. I live very close to you so if you want to PM and arrange to see what's involved in flying RC helicopters.
