Was happly flying about with the srimok this afternoon after the 4th tank i filled up again and went to the start line, all was fine after flying over half a tank i was flying very low and miss judged the ground and i think? i hit on the skids, the heli rolled over on the ground hit hold and shut off the motor.

went to see what damage i've dune.
    1. Radix mains
    2. tail tube.
    3. Torque tube.
4 one servo gear BLS 451
5 one plastic ball link from the head.

so far i've not found anything other things broken, but it's the way the tail broke gets me, a clean break after the boom support.

I'm not 100% sure i hit the ground before or after the tail break. anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers.

I think carbon booms tend to snap cleanly at the weakest point..last crash i had the boom snapped clean in 2 places, at the frame and at the boom support

'Sounds vaguely like something I did with the Avro a few weeks ago. I was about to take off though, and I guess it was lighter
on the skid than I thought and snagged a bit of uneven ground and tipped over. The result was £70.00 in parts not counting
the blades (TT 710s). And this was only the boom, main shaft, feathering shaft and crown gear (the main shaft seems OK
so I have a spare but still, there is a considerable 'ouch factor' ).
