    Blade sticker designs

    Hi I hope this doesn't sound too lame but - I bought 30 pairs of 325mm CF white with black blades recently, however the ones I received were the plain black chequered with no white. I've bought some white sticky backed vinly and want to make them look like these:

    Does anyone have a template or any other simple designs which can be printed onto the vinyl sheets?

      they'll last a week or two..even with me flying them. Its the 40 gears and 25 mainshafts that hurt :-)

      Try one template and a can of spray paint.

          Whatever you do to these 30 pairs of blades( 30 ? Hells' bells ) they're going to need some serious balancing x 60. Well we got the weather for it that's for sure. PGK's suggestion's OK for a few, but the template won't last for 60, you'll end up with fuzzy edges after the first few. Sticky backed vinyl is a bitch to get really flat without small air pockets underneath. Maybe you should go for a very simple design as a starter, do a couple to get your hand in and develop from there. Ordinary car spray paint'll do it. One way or the other, have fun buddy.

            Why do you need such a design on it? I would suggest you just pit a white flash on the rotor tips for visibility, this will be far easier to mask up for paint...

              Well thanks guys, I've still got a tin of white plasticoat spray - I'll try and do just the white bits on the end.
