I know a certain member from Leeds is always asking for a video of me flying, so here it is

So I've not been to the club to fly as there's never anyone around but tonight I arranged to meet Darren ( debrooker ) there so I could fly. I have to say I'm feeling a bit guilty as I got in 4 flights in total and he only had one. Anyway we went through the 'A' test manoeuvres first. Then I took the TT360 out for a go and Darren used my iPhone to grab some video.

Flying circuits with my TT360 - YouTube

Had a couple of flights on the 600 after that and with a bit of advice from Darren on what I should be doing, and pointing out I tend to turn really tight rather than nice wide turns and my flying really improved. Didn't have any space left to record on my phone though so just have this stuff It's the first time I've ever really flown the 600 properly and it was awesome. Really smooth big turns which I was getting much better at in the end.

Big thanks to Darren though for spending the time with me. Will try and get down a lot more often once I've got my A.

Thanks Graham, my 600 flying was much better in the end, need to start learning turns towards me next. And loops etc.

It was great to meet you Pete, and the practice you've put in is really paying off.

I should mention that Pete's nose in flying is very good indeed. Just need to sort out those sharp banked turns and you'll have no problem getting that 'A'

p.s. the video came out well

Well if your comfortable with nose in hovering, you should find flying the heli towards you is actually a lot easier than you might think. In fact nearly all orientations of forward flight are easier than doing all the orientations in a hover

Yeah I just need to spend some time doing normal circuits, I'm reasonably comfortable nose in so know I can do it, just need to practice it a bit. Lets see what the weather holds for tomorrow
