Haven't flown since the RCHA flyin. Culmination of a poor mood, poor weather, working weekends, not having a model to fly (90 has engine trouble, 50s waiting on a swash leveller) has stopped me flying. Can't wait to get in the air again.

I'm hoping the 90 is just needing a new plug, although I have to admit, the YS91SR in it has been a bitch to tune from day one :/

Can you not eyeball the swash rather than get the leveller? I've never bothered with a leveller and get on ok.

I have a heli with a YS91SR and the tuning has not been an issue, it seems very tolerant of needle settings and still might
be slightly rich but runs great. However, sometimes it refuses to start and it's not hydrolocking so I'm not sure if it's
not getting fuel or has too much fuel. This seems to happen pretty much at random and is usually after a couple flights
rather than the first start of the day.

But, yeah if you haven't flown since the RCHA flyin that's a long time! 'Gotta get out there while we still have
                  some warm weather.

How much trim do have to put in, do you have to retrim when inverted, do you get interaction on normal climb outs and inverted, do you get elevator input as well as aileron and vice versa when you don't want it. If not, fair play Pete, I need a pair of those eyes, or use my swash leveller.

I use eyeball mk1 rather than a swash leveller. Never had a problem, especially since being on vbar

i used my eyeball for years but recently purchased these for my 450/50's and 90's. Id like to think ive got great eyes but i must say that i could feel a diffrence when setup with the levellers.

I used to also, but now (and I'm partially blame Lee for this!) I have become a perfectionist. That is, I like to do everything properly, not to say my models are perfect!

Withdrawal symptoms ? Oh Yes, in spades too. Haven't been able to get out for the past couple of weeks,( bastid sciatica ! ) Whizzing the mcx around the living room just makes
me want to get out to the field more. Bummer, all this nice weather going to waste.
