Quanum telemetry query

    Quanum telemetry query

    Evening folks

    Just received a quanum telemetry system and have a quick question as the instructions are non existent

    The receiver has a servo type plug on it, does that plug into the rx battery port and what's it for?

    I have a perfect record with helicopter flight...I have never left one up there!

      that is for the additional current and temperature sensor.

            cool, its a handy piece of kit, id reccomend getting the current sensor, it measures mAh used aswell, comes in verry handy when i fly lecky parkflyers.

              The instructions are not non-existant, they just pop into and out of existance very quickly, you just have to be quicker reading them before they go, and if you are looking at the device (taking a measurement) you will not be able to look at the instructions with certainty.

                Judging by the uncertainty evident in the Lipo ESR figures , I think the planks at HobbyKing have redefined a constant, or even broken the odd law. Maybe it's fantasy or science fiction. Perhaps it's related to size, as the mention of nanotech seems to increase the probable error. Perhaps they are lacking in Principle??

                  I particularly like the the individual cell metering (up to 6s).
                  If a cell in your pack is starting to fail under load then it's going to show and give you a chance to perform a controlled landing before gravity and pyrotechnics take over.

                  The FrSky hub is also a neat bit of kit
                  FrSky DHT-U, sensor hub, sensors and LCD-fdd_lite is available!-New Release Show-news- New Release-FrSky Electronic Co.,Ltd
                  For users of module type transmitters and especially the Turnigy 9X.

                  Unfortunately it doesn't have the individual cell readouts that the Quanum has.

                    I saw this a while back and forgot all about them, might well get one for my Quad to keep an eye on its stats in flight
